EJB enclosures are certified globally for use in applications around the world. They are rated for Class I, Division 1 and Class II, Division 1 hazardous areas, and also carry IECEx and ATEX certifications.

Design features
- Style C boxes with an aluminum plate cover as standard, which allows device holes to be added to the cover in the field.
- Stainless steel cover bolts (Style C only): captive, hex-head and quick-release, with a spring that shows when they are fully retracted.
- External flange design: wide, unobstructed cover opening, with the interior fully accessible for wiring and equipment.
- Body walls can be drilled and tapped for conduit entries, as indicated in the listings.
- Guide pins at opposite corners to align the cover during installation (not supplied with hinged covers).
- Square corners: maximum interior space and area for conduit entries.
- Internal grounding bushing for the housed equipment.
- Neoprene cover gasket: watertight seal that meets NEMA 4 and protects against water and corrosion.
- Machined bosses for mounting panels and for field-installed hinges; optional stainless steel hinges.
- Removable mounting feet: if one breaks, the enclosure does not have to be replaced.
- IEC rating when ordered with the ATEX suffix.
